About Paradise Hills

Paradise Hills is a community in the southeastern region of San Diego, California. It is known for its hills and canyons as well as the views of the ocean, Coronado, San Diego Bay, and the city lights.

Paradise Hills is mostly a residential area with low density. There are a variety of homes and architectural designs here. It is located adjacent to National City and is bordered by several recreation venues.

The San Diego Unified School District is the second largest in the state. Students attend facilities like Paradise Hills Elementary, Bell Middle School, and Morse High School. There are hundreds of private institutions like the Calvary Christian Academy, Escondido Adventists Academy, the Montessori American School, and Halstrom Academy. Public universities include the University of California (UCSD) and San Diego State University (SDSU) as well as the San Diego Community College District.

Residents are within minutes to the Paradise Hills Recreation Center, Penn Athletic Field, and the Charles L. Lewis II Memorial Skate Park. Across Interstate 805 to the west is the National City Golf course which features a 9-hole course that is great for beginners and advanced players.

San Diego is California’s second largest city and the nation’s eighth. Its economy relies on tourism, manufacturing, international trade, and military defense related activities. There are 52 community planning areas here and more than 100 individual communities. This city is known for the San Diego Zoo as well as museums like the San Diego Air & Space Museum. Notable residents include Marcus Allen, Annette Bening, Jolene Blalock, Terrell Davis, and Robert Duvall.
